The stress causes of medical students consist of six groups: academic-related stressors, stressors related to interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, stressors related to learning, stressors related to social relationships, stressors related to relationships and stress, and stress related to group relations. The purpose of this study was to study stress images based on stress on first-year medical professional students of the Andalas University Medical School. This type of research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. Sampling is done by simple random sampling technique to get a sample of 188 respondents. Data was collected using a validated Medical Student Stressor Questionnaire questionnaire. The results of univariate analysis showed that the majority of respondents had moderate stress levels (48.4%). The highest level of academic related stress was severe stress (51.6%). The stress level associated with the most intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships was the highest level of stress (42.6%). The highest level of stress associated with teaching and learning is moderate stress (42%). The highest level of social related stress was moderate stress (53.2%). The stress level associated with desire and control was the most moderate stress level (39.9%). The highest stress level associated with group activity was moderate stress (45.2%). The most stressful stressors are those related to intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships.
