Abstract

PT Everbright is one of the companies engaged in the distribution of goods. In the distribution of wholesalers in the city of Bengkulu, there were several items which experienced hidden defects and caused losses to wholesalers. The purpose of this study is to examine and find out the implementation of distribution of goods by Stock Point Distributors of PT Everbright to traders in the City of Bengkulu and to know and analyze the implementation of PT Everbright's Stock Point Distributor responsibility for goods that have hidden defects in the process of distributing goods to traders in Bengkulu City. Data collection in this study uses empirical legal research methods whose data is obtained directly from the field, the type of data used is primary data obtained from the object of research in the field and secondary data obtained from the results of literature studies. Data collection methods used are through interviews and literature studies. Analysis of the data used is qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the distribution of goods carried out by the Stock Point Distributor of PT Everbright uses two ways, namely the first, canvas is a way of distributing goods to traders by offering products to wholesalers outside the city by bringing the production goods to be offered directly . second, Taking Order is the implementation of the distribution of goods in a way, the Salesman offers production goods to wholesalers in the City of Bengkulu, but the Salesman does not directly bring the goods offered. In addition to the implementation, the responsibility given by PT Everbright is in accordance with the losses of each store, namely Toko Syawal gets compensation for 15 boxes of Foyu Sweetened Condensed Milk, Kompas Shop gets compensation in the form of 200 Foot Cap 3 cans, Yenny Shop gets compensation 30 dus Nu Green Tea, Toko Santosa received compensation in the form of 8 boxes of Kremez Noodles, Bannar Shop received compensation in the form of 20 boxes of Panda Cap and 6 boxes of Mie Kremez.
