Abstract : False pregnancy or
False pregnancy or pseudocyesis, is a condition that occurs where
a woman feels pregnant while medically not getting pregnant at all.
Fake pregnancy (pseudocyesis) comes from a greek language that consists of
pseues which means wrong / false and kyesis word which means pregnancy
(Shibab, 2008). A false pregnancy case or False pregnancy or pseudocyesis
occurs in 6 of 22,000 pregnancies, and often occurs in women aged 20â € ”
40 years. This study aims to identify false pregnancies or
pseudocyesis. This research is a qualitative research with a design
used is phenomenologically. The population in this study was the mother who
had a false pregnancy (pseudocyesis) using acidental sampling technique,
and got 5 participants. In this study after all the data collected
then made transcripts in the program Nvivo for further analysis,
the categorization of the latter will produce themes
and made a conclusion.

The results showed that most participants were 20-
40 years, is a pregnancy dituggu and generally experience that
obtained based on the interview result is to feel himself pregnant, stomach
enlarged, happy, wanting to get pregnant, no menstruation and weight gain.
