Jurnal PENGARUH PERSEPSI TENTANG PROFESI SEBAGAI PENDIDIK TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA DAN KINERJA GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA
The purpose of this study was to describe: the perception of teachers as educators; level of work motivation and teacher performance; influence of perception on work motivation and performance; influence of work motivation on performance; and the indirect effect of perception on performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational multivariate design . The sample of this study consisted of 109 teachers who were determined using proportional random sampling technique. The results of the study show: teacher perceptions as educators at a moderate level; work motivation and teacher performance in a moderate level; there is a significant influence on perception of work motivation. Although, there is no significant influence on perceptions of performance directly. There is an influence of perceptions on teacher performance mediated by work motivation.
