The Influence of Learning Discovery Models by using Realia Media to the Results of Science Learning

The problem in r esearch is a less than optimal application of learning models and media and Low learning outcomes of science students in grade V of State Elementary School 4 West Metro. T ype research was an experiment with unequal control group design. The population in this study amounted to 48 students. The sample is determined by using purposive sampling with 24 students. After going through data collecting technique in the form of test and non test technique and data analysis technique, the result show there is a positive and significant influence to the application of discovery model using media realia to the result of science learning, by the results of hypothesis testing using t-test pooled variance data obtained t count 2, 340 19659005  (with α = 0,05).
The problem in this research is less maximal application of model and media of learning and low result of science learning of class V student of SD Negeri 4 Metro West. This type of research was experimental with unequal control group design . The study population was 48 students of the study sample using purposive sampling with the number of 24 students. Data analysis techniques consisting of test and non-test techniques and analytical techniques, the results of research indicate that there is a positive and significant influence on the application of discovery learning model by using real media to the results of science learning, it is issued with the results test of hypothesis using statistical test t-test pooled variance obtained data t count 2,340> t table 2.021 (with α = 0,05).
