The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative tournaments model (TGT) class V. Type of research is experimental research. The design used in this study is the design of unequal control groups. After going through data collection techniques in the form of tests and also data analysis techniques show that Ha accepted "There is a significant and positive influence model of cooperative learning type Tgt to the results of learning mathematics of students of grade V SD Negeri 4 North Metro." This is evidenced by the average value the experimental N-Gain class is higher than the control class that is 0.57 with 0.29, the difference of N-Gain of the two classes is 0.28 The hypothesis test results using t-test pooled variance obtained tcount 2,394> ttable 2,021.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) to the result of learning mathematics.This research type is experimental research.The research design is a design group of non equivalent control.The technique used is the data in the form of test techniques and analysis techniques data showing that there is a significant and positive influence on the application of the learner model an cooperative type of TGT to the results of learning mathematics of students of grade V SD Negeri 4 Metro North ". This is evidenced by the higher average N-Gain experiment class compared to the control class that is 0.57 with 0.29, the difference between the N-Gain Second Class is 0.28. The result of hypothesis testing using t-test pooled variance obtained t count 2,394> ttabel 2,021.
