Initiative is an attitude that makes a person motivated to do something without outside forces. Every student-teacher should take the initiative to teach and serve their students well. These student-teacher attitudes seem to flourish during the student's first internship. By taking the initiative, student-teachers can learn more and enjoy each learning process outside of the classroom environment, which currently occurs directly in school. In addition, through this attitude, student-teachers can more easily interact with and adapt to the school environment in which they are placed to carry out this first internship. In line with the development of teacher attitudes and character, the call to serve as a teacher is even more enriched.

INDONESIAN ABSTRACT : Initiative is an attitude that makes a person motivated to do something without a command first. Initiative attitude needs to be owned by every teacher in order to educate and serve every student well. The religious attitude of the students during the Field Introduction 1 Program was seen to develop with this implementation program. Through the initiative attitude, students can learn more deeply and help each learning process outside the classroom, that is when plunge directly to school. In addition, they can help more easily and closer to the school environment where they can be used for PPL I. In line with the development of attitudes and character of student teachers, the call to pass the task as a teacher is increasingly affirmed.
