Jurnal HUBUNGAN KETERAMPILAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DAN KONSELING OLEH MAHASISWA KEBIDANAN DENGAN KEPUASAN KLIEN DI BIDAN PRAKTIK MANDIRI

ABSTRACT : Success
Interpersonal communication in counseling of a midwife will be tested if
face the real client. Quality of interpersonal communication and counseling
by midwifery students have never been evaluated, therefore, students
when performing midwifery practice an assessment of communication skill is performed
interpersonal and counseling by clinical counselors. Skills Interpersonal communication and counseling
is an important aspect in family planning and reproductive health, because
counseling helps clients solve the problems they face in choosing and
decide on the type of contraception to be used in accordance with their needs,
so the client is satisfied with the choice and service it receives.
Cross sectional observational studies were conducted at four Midwife sites
Independent Practice of Ciamis Regency in August 2015. Research subject
is a third semester midwifery student who has passed the course
Family planning services as many as 46 people with sampling techniques
by random sampling Prospective acceptor
KB who come to Midwife Practice Mandiri assessed whether it meets the criteria
inclusion and exclusion, then the candidate of KB acceptor is chosen in a consecutive manner
until reached 46 people. Data obtained
using checklists and questionnaires, were analyzed by correlation test. Results
research shows that there is no relationship between counseling techniques,
the empathetic behavior in counseling that students display, which behavior
reflects ethics in counseling with client satisfaction with value
p> 0.05. There is no alleged relationship because at the time of judgment only
judged by compliance with clinical steps, but not assessing the content or
material counseling. Assessing empathy is not assessed by the client, the grain of judgment
empathy is not made specifically. There is still bias in the process
assessment and possibly also in the selection process. Conclusion of research result,
there is no relationship between counseling techniques, deep empathy behavior
counseling and ethical behavior in counseling with client satisfaction
