Abstract

This paper is designing a rectangular microstrip antenna for SAR antennas applications that use a frequency of 10 GHz with the material used is Duroid 4350b substrate. From the research results, SAR antenna output with a return loss value of -42.13 Db, VSWR of 1.0158 antenna impedance of 48.67 Ω, bandwidth of 0.377 GHz, HPBW of 15º and Gain of 10.5 dBi. From the antenna output parameters are produced, it meets the antenna standard which is quite good. The antenna has a large gain and a small HPBW value.
