The need for transportation facilities from time to time continues to experience
an increase in the number of activities that require services
transportation so that also increase the intensity of traffic movement between cities.
For example, the journey between the inhabitants of Kefamenanu-Atambua
the number continues to increase. Along with increasing mobility
residents, it is required the availability of inter-city transportation that serves the route
Kefamenanu-Atambua where it has fulfilled the requirements of smoothness, comfort and
security. So for that will be examined how the performance of service and
the need for the number of fleets on the need for high transport on

This study is a case study using survey methods and
interviews to drivers and passengers, where sampling takes place
based on the researcher's assumptions (in this case the author). The data used is data
primary (direct from the field) and secondary data (from related agencies).
This study discusses the performance of Bus and Travel public transport
serving the Kefamenanu-Atambua route, so as to obtain a service performance
adequate for both the service provider and the user of the transport service.
In this research, the identification of medium bus performance is performed
and Travel reviewed from the level of effectiveness with accessibility parameters, speed
average, and headway, while the level of service efficiency is identified with
parameters of passenger load factor, and utility. From the identification of such performance

The results of this study indicate that the average travel speed of the Bus
is 44.15 km / h not effective and the average speed of Travel 62.6 Not effective yet,
the average headway for Bus 29,556 minutes and Travel 69 minutes has not been effective,
while the efficiency of public transport in terms of bus load factor
58.57% efficient and Travel 78.79% can already be said to be inefficient, and utilities
Bus that reaches 176.6 km / kend / day efficiently and Travel utility 264,9-277,2
