Abstract: This study is intended to identify the correlation between tutoring services and Junior High School students' autonomy. This study was a correlational and expose facto study. The population of this study is the students of the State Junior High School 10 Yogyakarta amount to 506 students. Then, this study took 253 students as research sample which is determined by using proportional stratified random sampling. The data were obtained employing perception on tutoring services scale and students' autonomy scale. Cronbach's Alpha was used to examine the reliability and it obtained p = 0.743 for perception on tutoring services and p = 0.744 students' autonomy. To analyze the data, we employ statistical analysis. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between perceptions of the tutoring service with the independence of school students learn Secondary (Junior High). This study is a correlation study and expose facto . The population of this study is all participants of SMP Negeri 10 Yogyakarta, amounting to 507 people. A sample of 253 learners was determined by proportional stratified random sampling . Methods of data collection using the scale of perception of the service of learning guidance and the scale of learning independence. Instrument validity test using correlation coefficient product moment . Reliability test by using Cronbach Alpha technique, obtained p = 0,743 for perception variable to service of study guidance, and p = 0,744 for learning independence variable. The analytical technique used statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between perceptions of the counseling service with the independence of learners of SMP Negeri 10 Yogyakarta.
